TWG Tea Salon & Boutique, Jakarta : Have a cup of tea will you?

Well to be honest i'm not a tea person. but i appreciate almost every caffeine beverages. so on Sunday evening i let my self sink into one of the best tea room (well that's what they said) in plaza Senayan, in South Jakarta.

TWG Tea Salon & Boutique is the most happening tea room in Jakarta right now, a little hype place won't hurt me that bad right? I wonder why everyone is talking about this place. is it that good? or just another hype dining place that have ordinary taste.

Now i have all the answers.
I was ordered Royal Tea Set that evening. it was a fancy tea set i've ever experienced. this was the menu :

1. Prawn with Silver Moon Tea infused cream
2. Smoked Salmon with Mascarpone and Chives
3. Roma Tomato and Morrocan Mint Tea infused sauce

I picked Scones and Sandwich for our evening tea ceremony. and also the Creme Brulee Tea for sure.

My first slurp was amazing, i can even say a word. smells like the real Creme Brulee but not too sweet. perfect slurp.

Royal Tea Set
For the Royal Tea Set, not too bad i guess. but the Scone was prolly the best one ever. very chewy and tasty at the same time. the sandwiches was plain and dry. nothing's very special about this dish.
My several friends told me that their Macarons are the best one in town, so i gave it a try. i picked the salt caramel and the pink one i'm not sure what it's name. but my vote goes to the pink macaron!

The Packaging

I don't know why, it turns to be orange

Overall, i have to admit, this fancy hype tea room really amused me with their services, their lists of any kind of tea, and their macaroons! yum yum.

It's only a tea pot

Es Kopi Tak Kie : Kopi Lawas Rasa Beringas

Have i told you before i'm a coffee maniac? Ah right, you have prolly read my blog's name. by the way this is just a short review about old school coffee shop called "Es Kopi Tak Kie".

Not hainan rice, just Nasi Campur.
This alley seriously have some dangerous food stalls. kalau berlama-lama disana bisa-bisa kolestrol langsung naik. make sure you wear comfy outfits, karena belum tentu anda seberuntung saya dalam menemukan kedia kopi yang satu ini. ah, don't forget to stop by di tukang jualan cd bajakan sebelum gang gloria. dia hanya menjual lagu-lagu jaman dulu seperti kawanan nya Bee Gees, The Beatles, Queen dan penyanyi lawas lainnya. i bought some groovy music there! Here's a pic of my last slurp.
